Dry, racy, pleasing.
Township 7's Provenance Series rose is made primarily from Syrah and Rotberger, with small amounts of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Meunier. Each varietal was sent directly to press with minimal skin contact, resulting in a delicate rose gold colour. The juice underwent a slow, one month cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks to preserve its aromatics.
Expect a nose of dried orange peels and cranberry, wildflowers, tealeaf and cedar. It's a dry and racy pink with a spiced and zesty character with notable lift and bounce on the palate, especially on the finish. It's not lacking structure and the finish trails tobacco, lemon and orange peel flavours.
