Spicy, grippy, earthy,
Made from some of the oldest Cabernet Franc vines in BC, this Cab Franc delivers red currents, and forest berries, leather, bittersweet cocoa, toasted spice and charred orange peel aromas. The entry is fresh and spicy, green oak flavours quickly follow and it trails tart red fruits. Good acidity overall but the tannins are dry and grippy.
Suggested pairings: Game meats, lamb, roast duck or hearty stews and pastas.
