Fleshy, candied, potent.
A confectionery nose of candied pineapples, honey, vanilla and caramel lead to a palate oozing sweet and fleshy fruits atop potent vanilla and butterscotch. The acid is there, but this over-the-top Chardy borders on dessert.
Pair: roast chicken, smoked cheeses, creamy pasta sauces, lobster dipped in butter, cornbread, seafood chowder
