Von Winning's wines are made for gastronomy, and specifically for the cuisine of their onsite Leopold Restaurant. The winery is located in Deidesheim in the Pflaz
100% Barrel fermented, this undeniably unique Sauvignon Blanc offers grilled lemons and dried salted limes, nettle and cumin. A mouthfilling and quite powerful palate suggests more grilled citrus, salty mineral flavours and oak, which has likely integrated more over time. There's some development here and notable phenolic texture on the finish.
